Three Rustic country log cabins with magnificent mountain views, sunsets, and a bird watcher’s paradise. (1-1/2 hr drive from San Jose or SJO International airport. 2 hr drive to the beaches at Esterillos, Jaco, and Quepos.) Great investment property for short term rentals or make it your home for a quiet, relaxing place away from city traffic and noise. It is off the beaten path slightly, but with a paved road and close enough to several local restaurants and a mini-mart to get a few essential groceries. All cabins are fully furnished. Cabin #1 has a full size and remodeled kitchen & dining area, overlooking the pool and mountains, living room, bedroom, and bathroom w/shower. Cabin #2 (master suite) was built in 2016 by a very respected builder in the area. It has a spacious bedroom and sitting area (w/queen size Tempur-Pedic bed) A coffee station, for your morning coffee in bed, is close by, so there is no need to get in a hurry to get to the kitchen. The walk-in closet and a huge bathroom with a walk-in shower was especially built with the lady of the house in mind. Located directly below this cabin is a large, secure storage area, workshop, or Man’s Cave. Envisions of a renovation for additional living space or a Game Room could also make this space even more usable. Cabin #3 (connects by a walkway from cabin 2) is an additional guest space with bedroom, and bathroom w/shower. It is large enough to be an office space or additional twin beds or bunk beds could accommodate a small family. Below this cabin is a secure tool room and laundry room. All cabins have A/C units and ceiling fans.
A covered outdoor kitchen and dining area (Rancho) is a great meeting space during anytime of the day. It has a ceiling fan and a great area for an outdoor TV. Lots of counter space, electric outlets, 2 sinks, extra storage area w/refrigerator, BBQ grill and antique wood burning stove are the highlights for this outside visiting area. It also has a walk-way to the Swimming pool and deck area, An additional ½ bath for use by your guests is located near the Rancho. Carport for 2 cars. The property has several mango trees and beautiful landscape. An In-ground watering system, electricity, hot water, internet, local phones, TV satellite service and a security system are available. The lot measures 798m2. There is also a lot adjacent to the property available to expand the living area, if so desired.
Puriscal is the 4th canton in the province of San José, Costa Rica. In Spanish, a “puriscal” is the flower of the common bean. Puriscal covers an area from the Río Chucás delineates the canton’s northernmost boundary, while the Río Chires marks its far southern border, with the canton of Parrita in Puntarenas Province. Puriscal includes a major portion of the Coastal Mountain Range. Puriscal has a population of 31,202. Only 18% of the canton’s population live in urban areas. Among its inhabitants, 20.2% are under 10 years old and 7.4% are over 65. The city lies at an elevation of 1,105 metres above sea level in the coastal mountain range, 42 km southwest of the national capital city of San José and 77 km north of the city of Parrita on the Pacific coast. The old cathedral was built by Fr. Juan Cortez de Paja who took a vow of celibacy after an Indian Princess died from Influenza that she had caught from him. On the centennial of her death an earthquake destroyed the edifice.
